Several social media users are circulating a distressing 43-second video of a man carrying a child’s body out of a hospital before getting on a motorcycle, claiming it to be related to the stampede that broke out in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati on January 8, which has resulted in six deaths so far. Several users mocked the Gandhi family, sharing captions like: “Antonio’s family mourning Manmohan Singh in Vietnam.” However, the photo was taken at a restaurant in Delhi before Singh’s death. Old, Unrelated Visuals Falsely Linked To Recent Earthquake In Tibet
At least 126 people were killed and over 180 others injured after an earthquake struck Tibet on Tuesday. As its news broke, social media began to flood with unverified visuals of building collapse, dilapidated structures, and rescue operations among others linking it to the recent disaster in Tibet.
