Fact

We started our investigation by conducting a reverse image search of the key-frames of the viral video on Google and found a Youtube video by a channel called CRICKETER’S VALUE uploaded on 28th October, 2022. In the video, Zimbabwe players can be seen dancing to a song in their native language and there is no mention of Jai Shri Ram anywhere in the video.

In addition, we found a tweet by the official account of Zimbabwe Cricket which tweeted the same video in which there is no mention of Jai Shri Ram.

Thus it is clear that this video of Zimbabwe players dancing to ‘Jai Shri Ram’ chants is edited.

Result– Altered Video
