Multiple social media users shared the video claiming it to show Raina’s remarks amid backlash over controversial comments by YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia on his show, and terming the clip an “apology.”

Fact Check/Verification
A Google Lens search keyframes of the viral video led us to a YouTube video by @dhhfnatic, dated November 7, 2023, titled “Samay Raina Roast Rappers (Kr$na, Mc Stan, TA, Raftaar, ikka) | At Karam Album Launch.” It shows Raina in the same attire, and identical background as seen in the viral clip.
Around 3:06 minutes into the video, we spotted him making the same remarks as seen in the viral video.
Subsequent investigation led us to a video live streamed on the official channel of ‘KSHMR’ on November 2, 2023, titled “KARAM Album Launch Party – Live at antiSOCIAL Mumbai.” Around 9:55 minutes into the video, Raina is seen making the comments on “feedback” as seen in the viral clip purportedly showing his “apology” after the recent controversy.

Addressing the ongoing controversy, Raina recently said in a social media post, “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you.”
