A reverse image search on the keyframes of the viral clip led us to a 7-month-old-post on Iran-based website ‘mp4.ir’. Carrying the same footage, it stated that Iranian missiles destroyed the Nevatim base in the Negev (translated from Persian via Google).
Taking a clue, we looked up keywords “Iran Missile”, “Nevatim base” and “Negev” on Google which led us to an Instagram post by DD News, dated October 1, 2024. It carried the same footage that is being widely circulated to show Operation Sindoor.
The video was also shared on Facebook by All India Radio News on October 2, 2024 to show Iran’s missile attack on Israel.
Multiple news outlets such as this, this and this reported on Iran’s massive missile attack against Israel in October 2024.

Hence, we could prove that the viral video shared as visuals of India’s Operation Sindoor against Pakistan is old and unrelated.
