Photos show Nita Ambani giving a Bugatti car to Rohit Sharma after the Indian cricket team won the recently concluded ICC Champions Trophy.

We noticed that both images showed Ambani in different attires, and Sharma in different jerseys. Further, we also spotted certain anomalies in the photos, for instance, one of Ambani’s hands in Image 1 was not fully formed, and India was misspelt on the cricketer’s jersey. In Image 2, Sharma’s fingers were distorted, and the Adidas’ logo was not fully formed. The extra glossy texture of the images further indicated that the media were likely AI generated. 

We then ran past both the images on multiple AI detection tools which further confirmed that the media were generated using Artificial Intelligence. Hive Moderation found a 98.4% likelihood that Image 1 contained AI-generated or deepfake content and a 99.7% for Image 2. 

Another detection tool Sightengine found a 99% probability that Image 1 was produced using AI. It also concluded a 92% likelihood that Image 2 was AI-generated. 

We also checked the images on website wasitai.com which concluded, “We are quite confident that this image, or significant part of it, was created by AI” for both the media. 

Moreover, we did not find any credible reports on Nita Ambani giving Bugatti to Rohit Sharma after the Indian team won the recently concluded ICC Champions Trophy.

Hence, the viral photos of Nita Ambani with Rohit Sharma were found to be AI generated.
