Videos show Indian Army soldiers crying, saying they are afraid to fight the Pakistani Army and begging to return home.
The clips are AI-generated videos and do not depict a real incident.

Newschecker, however, found the videos to be AI generated.

We began our investigation by conducting a keyword search using terms such as “Indian soldiers,” “Pakistan Army,” and “dangerous.” However, no credible media reports or official statements referenced any such incident. The absence of reliable sources raised doubts about the authenticity of the viral videos.
A reverse image search on the circulating clips also did not lead to any credible news reports, official accounts, or verified Indian Army platforms sharing similar footage, further raising our doubts about their authenticity.

This video consists of two separate clips, so each was reviewed individually using AI-detection tools.

Since the India-Pakistan clashes in May 2025, Newschecker has debunked multiple misinformation attempts targeting the Indian Army, including several instances of deepfake and AI-generated videos shared online to mislead audiences and create panic.
The viral videos claiming that Indian soldiers are crying, calling the Pakistani Army “dangerous,” and begging to return home are not real. Our investigation, supported by multiple AI verification tools and the lack of credible reporting, confirms that the clips are AI-generated and manipulated, not recordings of any real incident.
Q1. Do the viral videos really show Indian soldiers crying and afraid to fight Pakistan?
No. The videos were found to be AI-generated deepfakes created using artificial intelligence–based voice and video manipulation tools.
Q2. Did any credible media outlet or official Army release confirm the incident?
No credible news report or official Army statement confirms such an incident.
Q3. How was it confirmed that the videos were fake?
AI-detection tools such as Hive Moderation, Deepfake-O-Meter and Hiya Deepfake Voice Detector detected high probabilities of AI-generated visuals and audio.
