A video of an auto rickshaw losing balance and overturning after being hit by a water balloon has been widely shared on social media platforms amid Holi celebrations. An Old Image ‘No Vote to BJP’ Rally In Kolkata Passed Off As From Tamil Nadu

An image is doing rounds on social media that shows a rally against the BJP with a ‘No Vote To BJP’ banner and placards. Posting that image a section of social media users claimed that the anti-BJP rally took place in Tamil Nadu. We found that the image is old and it is not from Tamil Nadu, but Kolkata. Deepfake Video Of Donald Trump Promising Support To Ex-Pak PM Imran Khan Goes Viral Ahead Of US Polls

A video allegedly showing Donald Trump extending his support to jailed Pakistani leader Imran Khan and promising to free him from prison if elected is going viral. Newschecker found that an AI generated audio has been digitally added to a video of Donald Trump to falsely claim that Trump extended his support to Imran Khan. Read more here.

2022 Video Of Kerch Bridge Explosion Falsely Linked To Baltimore Bridge Collapse

Multiple social media users shared a fifteen-second-long-video claiming to show an explosion at the Baltimore bridge before it collapsed. We found that an old video of an explosion at the Kerch bridge- a bridge connecting Russia and Crimea- has been falsely linked to the recent Baltimore bridge collapse. Read more here.
