17 सितम्बर, 2022 को नामीबिया से मध्य प्रदेश के कूनो नेशनल पार्क लाए गए चीतों को लेकर उपजा विवाद बढ़ता ही जा रहा है. सोशल मीडिया पर आए दिन नामीबियाई चीतों के नाम पर कई तरह के दावे शेयर किए जा रहे हैं. Newschecker द्वारा इन दावों की पड़ताल को यहां पढ़ा जा सकता है. नामीबिया से आए चीतों का बताकर शेयर किए जा रहे इस वीडियो की पड़ताल के लिए हमने इसके एक की-फ्रेम को गूगल पर ढूंढा. इस प्रक्रिया में हमें यह जानकारी मिली कि वायरल वीडियो साल 2021 के फरवरी माह से ही इंटरनेट पर मौजूद है.
वायरल दावे को लेकर Asianet, TheNewsMinute, India.com, TV9 Kannada तथा India Ahead News द्वारा साल 2021 के फरवरी माह में प्रकाशित रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, कर्नाटक के हासन (Hassan) जिले के राजगोपाल नाइक (Rajgopal Naik) अपनी पत्नी चंद्रम्मा (Chandramma) और पुत्र किरण (Kiran) के साथ मोटर साइकिल से कहीं जा रहे थे, तभी अर्सिकेरे (Arsikere) तालुक में झाड़ियों के बीच छिपे एक तेंदुए ने उनके पुत्र और पत्नी पर हमला कर दिया. अपने परिवार को बचाने की जुगत में राजगोपाल तेंदुए से भिड़ गए और 20 मिनट की इस लड़ाई के बाद अंततः उन्होंने तेंदुए को मार गिराया.
इसके अतिरिक्त, वायरल वीडियो को लेकर अधिक जानकारी के लिए हमने “ರಾಜಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಚಿರತೆ ಹಾಸನ ಕುಟುಂಬ” कीवर्ड को गूगल पर ढूंढा. इस प्रक्रिया में हमें ETV Kannada, TalukNews.com, Coastal Mirror, TV9 Kannada, News18 Kannada तथा Asianet Kannada द्वारा कन्नड़ भाषा में प्रकाशित लेख प्राप्त हुए, जिनमें उपरोक्त रिपोर्ट्स से मिलती जुलती जानकारी शेयर की गई है.
इस प्रकार हमारी पड़ताल में यह बात साफ हो जाती है कि नामीबिया से आए चीतों का बताकर शेयर किया जा रहा यह दावा भ्रामक है. वायरल वीडियो साल 2021 के फरवरी माह का है, जब कर्नाटक के हासन जिले के राजगोपाल नाइक ने अपने परिवार पर हमले के बाद एक तेंदुए को मार गिराया था.
