Claim : ફ્રાન્સની હિંસા સાથે જોડીને વાયરલ વિડીયોમાં દાવો કરવામાં આવી રહ્યો છે કે આ જગ્યા ફ્રાન્સની રાજધાની પેરિસમાં આવેલ રિપબ્લિક સ્ક્વેર છે.
Fact : ચાર વર્ષ પહેલા પેરિસના રિપબ્લિક સ્ક્વેર ખાતેના વિરોધનો વીડિયો તાજેતરની હિંસાના ભ્રામક દાવા સાથે શેર કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.
સોશિયલ મીડિયા પર એક વીડિયો વાયરલ થયો છે, જેમાં એક બિલ્ડિંગની પાસે મોટી સંખ્યામાં હાજર લોકો હાથમાં ઝંડા લઈને નારા લગાવતા જોવા મળે છે. આ વીડિયો સાથે દાવો કરવામાં આવી રહ્યો છે કે આ જગ્યા ફ્રાન્સની રાજધાની પેરિસમાં આવેલ રિપબ્લિક સ્ક્વેર છે.
વાસ્તવમાં ફ્રાન્સની રાજધાની પેરિસમાં 17 વર્ષના યુવક નાહેલના મોત બાદ રમખાણો ફાટી નીકળ્યા છે. મીડિયા રિપોર્ટ્સ અનુસાર, ફ્રાન્સમાં છેલ્લા એક દાયકામાં આ સૌથી મોટા તોફાનો હોવાનું કહેવાય છે. ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે ફ્રાન્સમાં ચાલી રહેલા રમખાણો રોકવા માટે લગભગ 50,000 પોલીસકર્મીઓ તૈનાત કરવામાં આવ્યા છે.

ફ્રાન્સની રાજધાની પેરિસમાં આવેલ રિપબ્લિક સ્ક્વેરને લોકોએ ઘેરી લીધું હોવાના દાવાની તપાસ કરતા વાયરલ તસ્વીરના રિવર્સે ઇમેજ સર્ચ પરથી અમને સેલિના સ્કાયસ નામના ટ્વિટર હેન્ડલ દ્વારા માર્ચ 2019ની ટ્વીટ જોવા મળે છે. ટ્વીટના કેપ્શન મુજબ, આ વીડિયો પેરિસના પ્લેસ ડે લા રિપબ્લિકનો છે, જ્યાં ફ્રાન્સમાં રહેતા અલ્જીરિયાના લોકો વિરોધ કરતા જોવા મળે છે. આ પ્રદર્શન અલ્જેરિયાના તત્કાલિન રાષ્ટ્રપતિ બૌતેફ્લિકાના પાંચમા કાર્યકાળ માટે કરવામાં આવી રહ્યું હતું.
આ ઉપરાંત, આ વિરોધ સાથે સંબંધિત અન્ય ટ્વીટ્સ પણ જોવા મળી, જે માર્ચ 2019 માં પોસ્ટ કરવામાં આવી હતી. અહીંયા, વાયરલ વીડિયોના અંશો જોઈ શકાય છે.
અમને Facebook પર કેટલાક કીવર્ડ્સ શોધતી વખતે જોસેફરી ઓચીંગ નામના વપરાશકર્તા દ્વારા માર્ચ 2019માં કરવામાં આવેલી પોસ્ટ જોવા મળી. પોસ્ટ સાથે આપવામાં આવેલી માહિતી અનુસાર, ફ્રાન્સમાં રહેતા અલ્જીરિયનોએ રાષ્ટ્રપતિ બૌતેફ્લિકા વિરુદ્ધ વિરોધ પ્રદર્શન કર્યું હતું.
વધુ તપાસ દરમિયાન, અમને 4 માર્ચ, 2019 ના રોજ ‘વોઆન્યૂઝ‘ની વેબસાઇટ પર પ્રકાશિત એક અહેવાલ મળ્યો. રિપોર્ટ અનુસાર આ વીડિયો ફ્રાન્સના પેરિસનો છે. જ્યાં અલ્જીરિયાના રાષ્ટ્રપતિ અબ્દેલ અઝીઝ બૌતેફ્લિકાના પાંચમા કાર્યકાળનો લોકોએ વિરોધ કર્યો હતો. આ વિરોધમાં મોટી સંખ્યામાં અલ્જેરિયાના લોકોએ ભાગ લીધો હતો. ફ્રેન્ચ મીડિયા વેબસાઈટ રેડિયો ફ્રાન્સ ઈન્ટરનેશનલે પણ માર્ચ 2019માં તેની વેબસાઈટ પર આ વિરોધ અંગેનો અહેવાલ પ્રકાશિત કર્યો હતો.

આમ, અમારી તપાસ પરથી સ્પષ્ટ થાય છે કે ચાર વર્ષ પહેલા પેરિસના રિપબ્લિક સ્ક્વેર ખાતેના વિરોધનો વીડિયો તાજેતરની હિંસાના ભ્રામક દાવા સાથે શેર કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.
