कल रात कुछ घंटों तक व्हॉट्सएप में आने वाली समस्या अब हल चुकी है। तकनीकी खामियों के चलते इसके करोड़ों उपभोक्ता ना कोई फोटो डाउनलोड कर पा रहे थे ना ही वीडियो। सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म इंस्टाग्राम, फेसबुक और ट्विटर पर भी यही समस्या आ रही थी। इन्हीं दिक्कतों के बीच व्हॉट्सएप पर एक मैसेज वायरल होना शुरू हुआ, सन्देश में दावा किया जा रहा है कि अब व्हॉट्सएप हर रोज़ रात के 11:30 बजे से सुबह के 6:00 बजे तक बंद रहेगा। केंद्र सरकार द्वारा ऐसी घोषणा की गई है। इस मैसेज को नरेंद्र मोदी व उसकी टीम की तरफ से बताया जा रहा है।
हमने जब इस फॉरवर्ड मैसेज की जाँच की तो हमें साल 2015 में वायरल हुआ मैसेज मिला जो बिलकुल यही है बस उसमें नाम बदल दिए गए ये हैं। मैसेज कुछ इस प्रकार है,
“What’s app will b off From 11.30pm to 6:00 am daily Declared by fb Message from Aarohi Deshmukh (CEO of Whatsapp) we have had an over usage of user names on whatsapp Messenger.We are requesting all users to forward this message to their entire contact list. If you do not forward this message, we will take it as your account is invalid and it will be deleted within the next 48 hours. Please DO NOT ignore this message or whatsapp will no longer recognise your activation.
If you wish to re-activate your account after it has been deleted, a charge of 299.00 will be added to your monthly bill. We are also aware of the issue involving the pictures updates not showing. We are working diligently at fixing this problem and it will be up and running as soon as possible.
Thank you for your cooperation from the Whatsapp team WhatsApp is going to cost us money soon. The only way that it will stay free is if you are a frequent user i.e. you have at least 10 people you are chatting with.
To become a frequent user send this message to 10 people who receive it (2 ticks) and your WhatsApp logo will change color. send this to 8 people to activate the new whatsapp…”
जब हमने पड़ताल आगे बढ़ाई तो पता चला कि यही मैसेज साल 2016 से चला आ रहा है बस व्हॉट्सएप सीईओ के नाम की जगह केंद्र सरकार लिख दिया गया है।
जैसा कि मैसेज में लिखा है, अगर आपने मेसेज को 10 कॉन्टेक्ट को नहीं भेजा तो आपका अकाउंट 48 घंटे के अंदर अवैध हो जाएगा और व्हॉट्सएप में आप एक्टिव नही रह पाओगे, फिर से व्हॉट्सएप को एक्टिवेट करने के लिए हर महीने कुछ पैसे चार्ज लगेंगे,”
इस तरह के सन्देश कई वर्षों से वायरल हो रहे हैं, लेकिन ऐसी कोई दिक्कत अब तक नही आई। रही बात केंद्र सरकार व पीएम मोदी टीम के इससे जुड़े होने की, तो व्हॉट्सएप या किसी भी अन्य सोशल साइट के बैकेंड से इनका कोई संबंध नही है।
सोशल मीडिया के तमाम प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर कुछ समय के लिए तकनीकी परेशानी थी जिसे जल्द ही सुलझा लिया गया। हमारी पड़ताल में साफ हो गया कि वायरल हो रहा दावा पूरी तरह से गलत है। इस बाबत फेसबुक ने आधिकारिक ऐलान भी किया है।
