वाराणसीमध्ये एका दलित हिंदू मुलीने बलात्कार आणि धर्मांतराची धमकी देणाऱ्या 6 मुस्लिम तरुणांचा गळा चिरून पलायन केल्याचा दावा सोशल मीडियावर केला जात आहे. तसेच बाबतपूरच्या काली मंदिरातून 6 कापलेली मुंडके सापडल्याचे सांगण्यात येत आहे.

दाव्याची सत्यता तपासण्यासाठी आम्ही व्हायरल पोस्ट काळजीपूर्वक पाहिली. त्यावर ‘UPTak’ चा लोगो दिसला. आम्हाला ‘UPTak’ वेबसाइट आणि YouTube चॅनेलवर असा कोणताही रिपोर्ट सापडला नाही. आम्ही ‘UPTak’चे ज्येष्ठ पत्रकार अमिश राय यांच्याशी संपर्क साधला. या दाव्याचे खंडन करत त्यांनी ही बातमी खोटी असल्याचे म्हटले आहे.
शिवाय, आम्हाला कोणत्याही मीडिया आउटलेटने या घटनेचा उल्लेख असलेला रिपोर्ट प्रकाशित केल्याचे आम्हाला दिसले नाही.
तपासादरम्यान, आम्हाला 18 जून रोजी गोमती झोन वाराणसी आयुक्तालयाकडून एक ट्विट आढळले. यामध्ये व्हायरल झालेल्या पोस्टचे खंडन करण्यात आले आहे. पोलिसांनी त्यांच्या ट्विटमध्ये लिहिले आहे की, अनेक ट्विटर यूजर्स पोस्ट करून एक फेक न्यूज व्हायरल करत आहेत. ज्यामध्ये एका दलित हिंदू मुलीने बलात्कार आणि धर्मांतराची धमकी देणाऱ्या 6 मुस्लिम तरुणांचा गळा चिरून पलायन केल्याचे म्हटले आहे. हे पूर्णपणे चुकीचे आहे. फुलपूर पोलीस ठाण्यांतर्गत येणाऱ्या बाबपूर चौकीत अशी कोणतीही घटना घडलेली नाही. कृपया अशा खोट्या आणि दिशाभूल करणाऱ्या पोस्ट शेअर करू नका. अशा पोस्ट शेअर करणाऱ्यांवर कायदेशीर कारवाई केली जाईल.
या प्रकरणाची माहिती घेण्यासाठी आम्ही स्थानिक पत्रकार अनुराग तिवारी आणि वाराणसीचे सुधीर राय यांच्याशी संपर्क साधला. त्यांनीही या घटनेचा इन्कार केला आहे.
एकंदरीत वाराणसीच्या बाबतपूरमध्ये अशी कोणतीही घटना घडली नसल्याचा निष्कर्ष काढण्यात आला आहे. व्हायरल पोस्ट बनावट आहे.
