நோபல் பரிசு பெற்ற பொருளாதார நிபுணர் அமர்த்தியா சென் காலமானதாகப் பரவிய செய்தி குறித்த உண்மையறிய அதுபற்றிய ஆய்வில் ஈடுபட்டோம்.
நம்முடைய தேடலில் பத்திரிக்கையாளர் Seema Chisti, பரவிய தகவல் தவறானது என்று தனது அதிகாரப்பூர்வ சமூக வலைத்தளப்பக்கத்தில் பகிர்ந்திருந்தார்.
எனவே, இந்த செய்தி குறித்து அமர்த்தியா சென் மற்றும் அவரது மகள் அந்தாரா சென் ஆகியோர் இணைந்து இருக்கும் Pratichi trust தரப்பில் தொடர்பு கொண்டு கேட்டோம். அதன் நிர்வாக அதிகாரி செளமிக் முகர்ஜி, “அமர்த்தியா சென் அவர்களது மூத்த மகளிடம் நாங்கள் தொடர்பு கொண்டு பேசினோம். அவர் நலமுடன் இருப்பதாக உறுதி செய்துள்ளார் அவரது மகள்” என்று தெரிவித்தார்.
தொடர்ந்து, அமர்த்தியா சென்னின் மூத்த மகளான அந்தாரா சென்னிடம் நியூஸ்செக்கர் சார்பில் தொடர்பு கொண்டு பேசினோம். அவர், ”Prof சென் நலமுடன் இருக்கிறார். அவருடன் நானும் இங்கே கேம்பிரிட்ஜில் இருக்கிறேன். போலி செய்திகளை நம்ப வேண்டாம்” என்று தெரிவித்தார்.
மேலும், அவரது மற்றொரு மகள் நந்தனா சென்னும் பரவிய செய்தி ஒரு வதந்தி என்று தனது தந்தையுடன் இருக்கும் புகைப்படத்தைப் பதிவிட்டு சமூக வலைத்தளத்தில் விளக்கமளித்துள்ளார்.
