सोशल मीडिया पर कई मीडिया संस्थानों, वैरिफाईड यूजर्स तथा आम यूजर्स ने या तो मीडिया संस्थानों के लिंक्स या फिर व्यक्तिगत स्रोतों के आधार पर यह दावा किया है कि सरकार ‘गोल्ड एमनेस्टी’ नामक एक योजना लाने जा रही है जिसके अंतर्गत आपके पास कितना सोना है इसकी जानकारी आपको सरकार को देनी होगी. जैसा कि हम सभी जानते हैं नोटबंदी के फायदे या नुकसान की चर्चा अब भी गाहे बेगाहे हो ही जाती है ऐसे में सरकार द्वारा सोने के ब्यौरे संबंधित यह खबर कुछ लोगों को नागवार गुजरी तो कुछ लोग इसे भ्रष्टाचार, काला धन तथा अन्य कई गैरकानूनी अवययों पर करारी चोट बता रहें हैं. चूंकि यह दावा सीधा हम सबके जेब या यूं कहें कि घर से जुड़ा हुआ है, जिसे भी यह खबर दिखी उसने अपने तरीके से इस खबर का विश्लेषण किया और इस तरह यह दावा थोड़े ही समय में सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो गया.

सोशल मीडिया पर मीडिया संस्थानों की खबर के आधार पर तेजी से शेयर किया जा रहा है यह दावा

आमतौर पर सोशल मीडिया यूजर्स को इस तरह की खबरों में ज्यादा दिलचस्पी होती है अतः इस दावे का वायरल होना तो लाज़मी था लेकिन ट्विटर द्वारा वैरिफाईड कई यूजर्स ने भी बिना प्राथमिक पड़ताल के इस दावे को शेयर कर दिया.

खबर मिल रही है की अब भारत सरकार आपके घर में रखे सोनें पर भी टैक्स लगाने का मन बना रही है, लगता है अर्थव्यवस्था जिस तरह से गिर रही है उससे भी तेज गति से सरकार की नीयत भी जनता के सोनें पर पड़ रही है, क्या देश की अर्थव्यवस्था को सरकार जनता का खून चूसकर सही करने का मन बना रही है…?

The government may soon announce an amnesty scheme for gold, according to news reports. The new scheme is being considered as yet another attempt to unearth lakhs of crores of black money still lying in the system in the form of unaccounted gold.

NEW DELHI : The government may soon announce an amnesty scheme for gold to bring hordes of black money used in buying the yellow metal considered a safe investment option in India. According to sources, the new amnesty scheme would allow gold hoarders to come clean on investment made using black money by declaring their possession and paying tax on it.

The Gold Amnesty Scheme seems to be the government’s another attempt at detecting and curbing the generation of black money. Experts are saying that since demonetisation was an attack on black money held in cash, and Benami Transactions (Prohibition) Act on black money held in real estate, the Gold Amnesty Scheme could be an attack on the black money held in gold.

New Delhi: In the second biggest move after demonetisation to curb black money, the Narendra Modi government may soon announce an amnesty scheme for unaccounted gold, CNBC Awaaz reported citing sources. The report quoted sources as saying that individuals will be allowed to disclose unaccounted gold beyond a certain threshold and pay taxes on the disclosed value.

क्या है पूरा मामला?

दरअसल CNBC Awaaz ने 2 दिन पहले सरकार द्वारा गोल्ड एमनेस्टी नामक योजना लागू करने की खबर चलाई. जिसके बाद कुछ मीडिया संस्थानों ने या तो CNBC Awaaz के मार्फ़त या फिर सूत्रों के हवाले से यह खबर चलाई कि सरकार एक निर्धारित सीमा के ऊपर बिना रसीद या उचित साक्ष्यों के बगैर रखे गए सोने पर भारी कर लगा सकती है. सरकार सोने के नियामन के लिए ‘गोल्ड एमनेस्टी’ नामक योजना लाने के विषय में विचार कर रही है. इस दावे के बारे में पूरी जानकारी  CNBC Awaaz के इस वीडियो से प्राप्त की जा सकती है.

वित्त मंत्रालय ने ‘गोल्ड एमनेस्टी’ योजना लाने की खबर को सिरे से नकारा

समाचार एजेंसी ANI ने वित्त मंत्रालय के सूत्रों के हवाले से यह जानकारी दी है कि “जैसा कि मीडिया संस्थान रिपोर्ट कर रहें हैं, इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट की तरफ से किसी भी तरह की गोल्ड एमनेस्टी स्कीम लाने का कोई प्रावधान या विचार नहीं किया गया है. बजट सत्र नजदीक है ऐसे में इस तरह की काल्पनिक या संभावना भरी खबरें आना स्वाभाविक है.”

सरकार नहीं ला रही गोल्ड ऐमनेस्टी स्कीम, चल रही खबरें अफवाह- सूत्र

खबरों में कहा गया है कि नई आम माफी योजना से सोने के जमाखोरों को कालेधन से किए गए निवेश को वैध बनाने का मौका मिलेगा. इसके लिए उन्हें अपने पास मौजूद सोने का खुलासा करना होगा और इस पर कर का भुगतान करना होगा.

The clarification comes amidst media report indicating the government move to launch amnesty scheme that will allow individuals and entities to declare their unaccounted gold holding without risk of being prosecuted. There is no such gold amnesty scheme under consideration of Income Tax Department as being reported in media, official sources said on Thursday.
