सोशल मीडिया पर यह दावा किया जा रहा है कि भाजपा ने UCC और NRC जैसे मुद्दों को अपने चुनावी घोषणापत्र में शामिल नहीं किया है.

भाजपा द्वारा UCC और NRC जैसे मुद्दों को अपने चुनावी घोषणापत्र में शामिल नहीं किए जाने के नाम पर शेयर किए जा रहे इस दावे की पड़ताल के लिए हमने भाजपा का घोषणापत्र खंगाला. घोषणापत्र में ‘uniform’ कीवर्ड को ढूंढने पर हमें यह जानकारी मिली कि पार्टी ने सरकार बनने पर समान नागरिक संहिता (Uniform Civil Code) लागू करने का वादा किया है.
हालाँकि, जब हमने ‘NRC’ तथा ‘National Register of Citizens’ कीवर्ड्स को ढूंढा तो हमें यह जानकारी मिली कि यह सही है कि पार्टी ने अपने घोषणापत्र में NRC का जिक्र नहीं किया है.
बता दें कि The Hindu, Business Standard, The Economic Times तथा The Telegraph द्वारा प्रकाशित लेखों में भी यह जानकारी दी गई है कि भाजपा ने अपने घोषणापत्र में UCC लागू करने का वादा किया है लेकिन NRC का जिक्र नहीं किया है.
इस प्रकार हमारी पड़ताल में यह बात साफ हो जाती है कि भाजपा द्वारा UCC और NRC जैसे मुद्दों को अपने चुनावी घोषणापत्र में शामिल नहीं किए जाने के नाम पर शेयर किया जा रहा यह दावा भ्रामक है. असल में भाजपा ने अपने घोषणापत्र में UCC लागू करने का वादा किया है. हालाँकि पार्टी ने इसमें NRC का जिक्र नहीं किया है.
