सोशल मीडिया पर एक पोस्ट के जरिए दावा किया गया है कि फुटबॉलर क्रिस्टियानो रोनाल्डो ने अपने चारोंं गोल्डन बूट 12 करोड़ रुपये में बेचे हैं, और ये सारा पैसा फिलिस्तीनी बच्चों की मदद के लिए जाएगा।

दावे की सत्यता जानने के लिए हमने गूगल पर कुछ कीवर्ड्स की मदद से सर्च किया। हमें वायरल दावे से संबंधित कोई भी मीडिया रिपोर्ट प्राप्त नहीं हुई। इसके बाद हमने फुटबॉलर क्रिस्टियानो रोनाल्डो के सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट को खंगाला, लेकिन उनके फेसबुक, ट्विटर और इंस्टाग्राम पर ऐसी कोई पोस्ट नहीं मिली, जिसमें इस बात की पुष्टि होती हो कि उन्होंने अपने चारों गोल्डन बूट दान किए हों।
गूगल पर सर्च करने के दौरान हमें खेल से जुड़ी खबरों की प्रमुख वेबसाइट Espn द्वारा 2017 में प्रकाशित एक रिपोर्ट मिली। इस रिपोर्ट में क्रिस्टियानो रोनाल्डो द्वारा किए गए दान के बारे में बताया गया है, लेकिन इसमें गोल्डन बूट डोनेट करने का कहीं जिक्र नहीं है। बता दें, रोनाल्डो को 2015 में चौथा गोल्डन बूट मिला था।
पड़ताल के दौरान हमें Sportskeeda की वेबसाइट पर 2012 में छपा एक लेख मिला। इसमें क्रिस्टियानो रोनाल्डो द्वारा गोल्डन बूट डोनेट किए जाने का खंडन किया गया है। इसके अलावा, AFP ने 2019 में अपने एक फैक्ट चेक में रोनाल्डो द्वारा फिलिस्तीन में 1.5 मिलियन डॉलर डोनेट किए जाने के दावे का खंडन किया था। कुल मिलाकर, क्रिस्टियानो रोनाल्डो द्वारा अपने चारों गोल्डन बूट 12 करोड़ रुपये में बेचने का वायरल दावा फर्जी है।
