सोशल मीडिया पर एक तस्वीर शेयर कर यह दावा किया जा रहा है कि दिल्ली में हुए G-20 सम्मेलन के लिए झुग्गी बस्तियों को ढक दिया गया.
Fact
दिल्ली में हुए G-20 सम्मेलन के लिए झुग्गी बस्तियों को ढक दिए जाने के नाम पर शेयर किए जा रहे इस दावे की पड़ताल Newschecker द्वारा अंग्रेजी, मराठी, गुजराती, तमिल तथा पंजाबी भाषाओं में की जा चुकी है. हमारी पड़ताल के अनुसार, वायरल तस्वीर में ‘Mumbai welcomes G20 delegates’ लिखा हुआ, जिससे यह जानकारी मिलती है कि यह तस्वीर दिल्ली की नहीं, बल्कि मुंबई की है.
अपनी पड़ताल के दौरान हमें Midday द्वारा 16 दिसंबर, 2022 को गुजराती भाषा में प्रकाशित एक लेख प्राप्त हुआ, जिसमें वायरल तस्वीर मौजूद है. लेख के अनुसार, तस्वीर जोगेश्वरी झुग्गी बस्ती की है, जिसे G-20 की एक बैठक के लिए ढका गया था.
इसके अतिरिक्त हमें Deccan Herald, Hindustan Times तथा NDTV द्वारा प्रकाशित लेखों में भी मुंबई में साल 2022 के दिसंबर माह में हुई बैठक के लिए झुग्गी बस्तियों के ढके जाने की जानकारी प्राप्त हुई.
PIB Fact Check ने 5 सितंबर, 2023 को शेयर किए गए ट्वीट में भी इस तस्वीर को मुंबई में हुई G-20 बैठक का बताया है.
इस प्रकार हमारी पड़ताल से यह बात साफ हो जाती है कि दिल्ली में हुए G-20 सम्मेलन के लिए झुग्गी बस्तियों को ढक दिए जाने के नाम पर शेयर किया जा रहा यह दावा भ्रामक है. असल में वायरल तस्वीर साल 2022 के दिसंबर माह में मुंबई में हुई G-20 की एक बैठक की है, ना कि दिल्ली में हुए G-20 सम्मलेन की.
