गुजरात की आईपीएस अधिकारी काजल सिंगला ने ‘लव जिहाद’ को लेकर जरुरी बयान दिया है.

वायरल दावे की पड़ताल के लिए हमने ‘kajal shingala gujarat’, ‘kajal singhala gujarat’ जैसे कीवर्ड्स को गूगल पर ढूंढा. इस प्रक्रिया में हमें Indian Express द्वारा 10 अप्रैल, 2023 को प्रकाशित एक लेख प्राप्त हुआ, जिसमें ऊना भड़काऊ भाषण मामले में गिरफ्तार काजल शिंगला (सिंगला) को गुजरात के जामनगर का निवासी बताते हुए, उनके ट्विटर बायो में ‘राष्ट्रवादी’ और ‘सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता’ लिखे होने की जानकारी दी गई है. इसके अतिरिक्त, हमने कई अन्य न्यूज़ तथा मीडिया संस्थानों द्वारा काजल सिंगला के बारे में प्रकशित लेख भी पढ़ें, लेकिन इनमें से किसी भी लेख में उनके IPS या पुलिस अधिकारी होने की कोई जानकारी मौजूद नहीं है.
उपरोक्त लेख से प्राप्त जानकारी के आधार पर हमने काजल सिंगला का आधिकारिक ट्विटर पेज ढूंढा. इस प्रक्रिया में हमें यह जानकारी मिली कि ‘Kajal HINDUsthani’ नाम के साथ मौजूद उनके अकाउंट के बायो में स्वयं को ‘नव-उद्यमी, शोध विश्लेषक, वाद-विवादकर्ता, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता, भारतीय दक्षिणपंथ की समर्थक, राष्ट्रवादी तथा गौरवान्वित हिंदुस्तानी’ बताया गया है. बता दें कि उनके ट्विटर पेज पर काजल के IPS अधिकारी होने का कोई जिक्र नहीं है. ट्विटर एडवांस्ड सर्च की सहायता से काजल द्वारा ‘IPS’ शब्द के साथ शेयर किए ट्वीट्स को खंगालने पर भी हमें उनके IPS होने से संबंधित कोई जानकारी नहीं मिली. गौरतलब है कि काजल ने खुद भी बिना IPS अधिकारी लिखे एक कैप्शन के साथ शेयर किए गए वायरल वीडियो को रीट्वीट किया है.
काजल हिंदुस्तानी के ट्विटर पेज पर मौजूद उनकी वेबसाइट पर उपलब्धियों वाले हिस्से में जहां भाजपा के लिए प्रचार, सामाजिक कार्य तथा विश्वविद्यालयों में भाषणों का तो जिक्र है, लेकिन यहां भी उनके IPS होने का कोई जिक्र नहीं है.
इस प्रकार हमारी पड़ताल में यह बात साफ हो जाती है कि गुजरात की आईपीएस अधिकारी बताई जा रही काजल सिंगला, असल में आईपीएस या पुलिस अधिकारी नहीं हैं. वह स्वयं को राष्ट्रवादी विचारधारा से जुड़ी एक सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता बताती हैं.
