सोशल मीडिया पर यह दावा किया जा रहा है कि केंद्र सरकार अल्पसंख्यक कार्य मंत्रालय को खत्म करने जा रही है.

केंद्र सरकार द्वारा अल्पसंख्यक कार्य मंत्रालय को खत्म करने के नाम पर शेयर किए जा रहे इस दावे की पड़ताल के लिए हमने कुछ कीवर्ड्स को गूगल समेत सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर ढूंढा. इस प्रक्रिया में हमें Press Information Bureau (PIB) की फैक्ट चेक इकाई PIB Fact Check द्वारा 3 अक्टूबर, 2022 को शेयर किया गया एक ट्वीट प्राप्त हुआ. PIB Fact Check ने अपने ट्वीट में Deccan Herald द्वारा प्रकाशित वायरल दावे से जुड़ी एक खबर को गलत बताते हुए यह जानकारी दी है कि केंद्र सरकार ऐसे किसी प्रस्ताव पर विचार नहीं कर रही है.
बता दें कि PIB Fact Check द्वारा शेयर किए गए ट्वीट को, केंद्रीय अल्पसंख्यक कार्य मंत्री स्मृति ईरानी तथा अल्पसंख्यक कार्य राज्य मंत्री जॉन बारला ने भी रिट्वीट किया है.
इसके अतिरिक्त, हमें PIB की वेबसाइट पर अल्पसंख्यक कार्य मंत्रालय द्वारा हिंदी तथा अंग्रेजी भाषा में जारी किए गए प्रेस रिलीज़ भी प्राप्त हुए, जिनमें केंद्र सरकार द्वारा मंत्रालय खत्म करने के नाम पर शेयर किए जा रहे इस दावे को फर्जी बताया गया है. PIB के अनुसार, सरकार अभी इस तरह के किसी प्रस्ताव पर विचार नहीं कर रही है.
