शेयर किया जा रहा वीडियो अमेरिका और मैक्सिको के बीच बनी स्टील की दीवार का ही है। जिसे कैलिफॉर्निया के दो प्रोफेसर ने 30 जुलाई को यहां लगाया था, जिसका मकसद ये बताना था कि दो पड़ोसियों के बीच रिश्तों को कैसे मजबूत बनाया जा सकता है। हालांकि ये झूले उसी दिन हटा लिए गए थे। Forbes पर छपे लेख के मुताबिक अधिकारियों ने बताया कि कुछ लोगों को बॉर्डर पर बोर्ड लगाते देखा गया था लेकिन बाद में सबको हटा दिया गया क्योंकि इसके लिए मंजूरी नहीं ली गई थी।

ये एक तरह से अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप द्वारा बनाई जा रही मैक्सिको वॉल के विरोध में शांति प्रदर्शन था। इन झूलों को लगाने वाले आर्टिस्ट रोनाल्ड रील कहते हैं कि सरहद की एक तरफ अगर कुछ घटता है तो उसका असर दूसरी तरफ भी पड़ता है जिसे इन झूलों के माध्यम से समझा जा सकता है।

One of the most incredible experiences of my and @vasfsf’s career bringing to life the conceptual drawings of the Teetertotter Wall from 2009 in an event filled with joy, excitement, and togetherness at the borderwall. The wall became a literal fulcrum for U.S. – Mexico relations and children and adults were connected in meaningful ways on both sides with the recognition that the actions that take place on one side have a direct consequence on the other side.
