“மனசாட்சி வேண்டாமாடா?இவனுக ஊரில் ப்ளான் அப்ரூவல் எல்லாம் கிடையாதா?” என்பதாக இப்புகைப்படம் பரவுகிறது.

சமூக ஊடகங்களில் பரவி வரும் இத்தகவலின் உண்மைத்தன்மைக் குறித்து அறிய இத்தகவல் குறித்து நியூஸ்செக்கர் தமிழ் சார்பில் ஆய்வு செய்ய முடிவு செய்தோம்.

Fact Check/Verification

சாய்ந்த நிலையில் கட்டப்பட்ட கட்டிடம் என்பதாகப் பரவும் புகைப்படம் குறித்த உண்மையறிய அதுகுறித்த ஆய்வில் ஈடுபட்டோம்.

குறிப்பிட்ட புகைப்படத்தை உற்று நோக்கும்போதே அதில் புகைப்படம் எடிட் செய்யப்பட்டு சாய்க்கப்பட்டிருப்பது நன்கு தெரிந்தது. தொடர்ந்து, அந்த புகைப்படத்தை ரிவர்ஸ் சர்ச் முறைக்கு உள்ளாக்கினோம்.

அதில், கடந்த 2018 ஆம் ஆண்டு Tuko.co.ke என்கிற செய்தி நிறுவனம் வெளியிட்டிருந்த செய்தியில் “The Nairobi County has ordered for demolition of a seven-storey building poorly constructed along the Kayole-Spine Road at Bee Centre in Umoja Estate. This follows public outrage after a photo of the building emerged on social media platforms.” என்று தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.

இதுகுறித்து, Tuko வெளியிட்டிருந்த முழுமையான கட்டுரையில் “On Friday, November 9, the county had directed the owner of the building to bring it down but the developer did not comply.” என்று இந்த கட்டிடத்தின் மற்றொரு புகைப்படமும் வெளியிடப்பட்டிருந்தது.

மேலும், அன்றைய Mike Sonko ட்விட்டரில் இதுகுறித்து, “My admin cannot sit back & watch innocent Kenyans trapped in collapsed buildings because of corruption.This morning a multi-agency team led by City Hall officials arrested owner of a condemned 7-storey building in Kayole for building without approvals/ignoring a demolition notice” என்று பதிவிட்டுள்ளார்.

இதன்மூலமாக, நைரோபியில் பாதுகாப்பற்ற முறையில் கட்டப்பட்டதாக இடிக்க உத்தரவிடப்பட்ட கட்டிடத்தின் எடிட் செய்யப்பட்ட புகைப்படமே தற்போது பரவுகிறது என்பது தெளிவாகிறது.
