इसके बाद हमने फिल्म के प्रोडक्शन हाउस Sunshine Pictures का यूट्यूब चैनल खंगाला. इस प्रक्रिया में हमें चैनल द्वारा प्रकाशित फिल्म का ट्रेलर मिला. ट्रेलर और डिस्क्रिप्शन में फिल्म से जुड़े लोगो के नाम बताए गए हैं, लेकिन इसमें भी हमें कहीं अभिनेत्री देवोलीना भट्टाचार्य का नाम नहीं मिला.
वायरल दावे के बारे में अधिक जानकारी के लिए हमने अभिनेत्री देवोलीना भट्टाचार्य का ट्विटर पेज खंगाला. इस प्रक्रिया में हमें उनके द्वारा शेयर किए गए कई ट्वीट्स प्राप्त हुए, जिनमें उन्होंने The Kerala Story की अभिनेत्री का बचाव तथा खुद के अंतरधार्मिक विवाह का जिक्र किया है. लेकिन उनके ट्विटर एवं अन्य सोशल मीडिया पेजों पर कोई भी ऐसा पोस्ट नहीं मिला, जिसमें उन्होंने फिल्म में अभिनय की बात कही हो.
