फोर्ब्स की विश्व के सर्वाधिक शिक्षित नेताओं की सूची में राहुल गांधी को सातवें क्रमांक पर बताए जाने के नाम पर शेयर किए जा रहे इस दावे की पड़ताल Newschecker द्वारा 15 अक्टूबर 2020 को की गई थी. हमारी पड़ताल के अनुसार, असल में फोर्ब्स पत्रिका विश्व के सर्वाधिक शिक्षित नेताओं की ऐसी कोई सूची प्रकाशित नहीं करता है. इसके अतिरिक्त हमने ‘Rahul Gandhi‘, ‘Rahul Gandhi Educated‘, ‘Most Educated‘ जैसे कई कीवर्ड्स को Forbes की वेबसाइट पर ढूंढा, लेकिन इस प्रक्रिया में भी हमें ऐसी कोई सूची या लेख प्राप्त नहीं हुए जिनमें दुनिया के सर्वाधिक शिक्षित नेताओं की जानकारी दी गई हो.
Forbes India द्वारा 21 दिसंबर 2009 को प्रकाशित एक लेख में राहुल गांधी को ‘पर्सन ऑफ़ द ईयर’ का तमगा दिया गया था.
भारतीय चुनाव आयोग की वेबसाइट पर मौजूद राहुल गांधी द्वारा साल 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए दायर हलफनामे के अनुसार उन्होंने कैंब्रिज यूनिवर्सिटी से साल 1995 में M.Phil की डिग्री हासिल की थी.
