सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो शेयर कर यह दावा किया जा रहा है कि लुप्पो नामक केक में एक ऐसी दवा मिलाई गई है जिससे बच्चे लकवाग्रस्त हो जाते हैं.
Fact
लुप्पो नामक केक में बच्चों को लकवाग्रस्त बना देने वाली दवा मिले होने के नाम पर शेयर किया जा रहा यह दावा पूर्व में भी कई बार वायरल हो चुका है. Newschecker द्वारा अंग्रेजी, तमिल, गुजराती तथा मराठी भाषाओं में इस दावे की पड़ताल की चुकी है. हमारी पड़ताल के अनुसार, तुर्की स्थित फैक्ट चेकिंग संस्थान Teyit.org ने भी इस दावे को गलत बताया है. संस्था ने यह जानकारी दी है कि केक को गौर से देखने पर यह पता चलता है कि केक के मूलस्वरूप के साथ छेड़छाड़ की गई है. Teyit ने Wishe Press नामक यूट्यूब चैनल को वीडियो का असल स्रोत बताया है. संस्था ने यह भी जानकारी दी है कि तुर्की ने 2019 में Operation Peace Spring शुरू किया था, जिसके बाद Northern Iraq में तुर्की के कई उत्पादों के बहिष्कार का क्रम शुरू हो गया था. संभव है कि यह वीडियो तुर्की में निर्मित उत्पादों के बहिष्कार के इसी अभियान का हिस्सा हो.
Snopes नामक फैक्ट चेकिंग सस्न्था से बात करते हुए लुप्पो केक की निर्माता कंपनी Sölen के एक प्रवक्ता ने यह जानकारी दी है कि यह केक केवल तुर्की में ही बेचा जाता है.
इसके अतिरिक्त हमें Erbil Health Protection Affairs Directorate द्वारा 6 नवंबर, 2019 को शेयर किया गया एक फेसबुक पोस्ट भी प्राप्त हुआ. उक्त पोस्ट के अनुसार, इस उत्पाद का प्रयोगशाला में परीक्षण किया गया है, जिसमे इसे खाने योग्य पाया गया है.
इस प्रकार हमारी पड़ताल में यह बात साफ हो जाती है कि लुप्पो नामक केक में बच्चों को लकवाग्रस्त बना देने वाली दवा मिले होने के नाम पर शेयर किया जा रहा यह दावा गलत है.
