सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो शेयर कर यह दावा किया गया कि नामीबिया से आए चीतों ने एक हिरण को मार डाला.
नामीबिया से चीते आने की घोषणा के बाद से ही इसके समर्थन और विरोध में आवाजें उठनी शुरू हो गई हैं. चीते की दहाड़ से लेकर उसके भोजन को लेकर कई तरह के भ्रामक दावे वायरल हो चुके हैं. बिश्नोई समाज द्वारा भारी विरोध के बाद मध्य प्रदेश सरकार के जनसम्पर्क विभाग तथा वन मंत्रालय ने एक स्पष्टीकरण जारी कर यह जानकारी दी है कि कूनो राष्ट्रीय उद्यान में बड़ी संख्या में चीतल हैं, इसलिए यहां किसी दूसरी जगह से चीतल या हिरण लाए जाने की जानकारी गलत है.
इसी क्रम में सोशल मीडिया यूजर्स एक वीडियो शेयर कर यह दावा कर रहे हैं कि नामीबिया से आए चीतों ने एक हिरण को मार डाला.
Fact Check/Verification
‘नामीबिया से आए चीतों ने एक हिरण को मार डाला’ दावे के साथ शेयर किए जा रहे इस वीडियो की पड़ताल के लिए हमने इसके एक की-फ्रेम को गूगल पर ढूंढा. इस प्रक्रिया में हमें यह जानकारी मिली कि इस वीडियो को Lemurt Wildlife Tours नामक यूट्यूब चैनल ने 17 अगस्त, 2022 को अपलोड किया था.
उक्त यूट्यूब वीडियो के शीर्षक के अनुसार यह वीडियो Mara Ecosystem का है, जहां किसारु (Kisaru) नामक एक मादा चीते ने अपने बच्चों के साथ एक इम्पाला का शिकार किया था. बता दें कि Kenya स्थित The Greater Mara Ecosystem या The Maasai Mara Ecosystem में बड़े पैमाने पर वन्यजीव पाए जाते हैं. गौरतलब है कि नामीबिया से चीते 17 सितंबर, 2022 को मध्य प्रदेश के कूनो नेशनल पार्क लाए गए थे.
‘Kisaru’ कीवर्ड को फेसबुक पर ढूंढने पर हमें कई ऐसे पोस्ट्स प्राप्त हुए, जिनसे इस बात की पुष्टि हो जाती है कि वायरल वीडियो नामीबिया से भारत आए चीतों का नहीं है.
Conclusion
इस प्रकार हमारी पड़ताल में यह बात साफ हो जाती है कि ‘नामीबिया से आए चीतों ने एक हिरण को मार डाला’ दावे के साथ शेयर किया जा रहा यह दावा भ्रामक है. वायरल वीडियो असल में भारत का नहीं है। यह वीडियो 17 अगस्त, 2022 से ही इंटरनेट पर मौजूद है जबकि नामीबिया से चीते 17 सितंबर, 2022 को मध्य प्रदेश के कूनो नेशनल पार्क लाए गए थे.
