सोशल मीडिया पर एक तस्वीर काफी शेयर हो रही है, जिसमें एक व्यक्ति को शिवलिंग के ऊपर पैर रखे देखा जा सकता है.‌ पोस्ट में तस्वीर को वायरल करने के लिए कहा गया है, जिससे यह व्यक्ति पकड़ा जाए. कुछ लोग तस्वीर को सांप्रदायिक रंग भी दे रहे हैं.

खोजने पर हमें पता चला कि यह तस्वीर अगस्त 2019 में भी वायरल हुई थी. उस समय यूपी की आजमगढ़ पुलिस ने इसको लेकर एक ट्वीट में पूरी जानकारी बताई थी. आजमगढ़ पुलिस का कहना था कि भगवान शिव की मूर्ति पर पैर रख कर फोटो खिंचवाकर वायरल करने वाले दो लड़के थे, जिनका नाम ऋषि कुमार और नीरज कुमार है. दोनों अंबेडकरनगर की एक हरिजन बस्ती के रहने वाले हैं, जिनके विरुद्ध अग्रिम कार्यवाही की जा रही है.

इसको लेकर अंबेडकर नगर पुलिस ने भी ट्वीट किया था और लिखा था कि युवकों के खिलाफ अभियोग पंजीकृत कर कार्रवाई की जा रही है. वायरल फोटो के अलावा उस समय एक और तस्वीर भी वायरल हुई थी, जिसमें दो अन्य लड़को को भी शिवलिंग के ऊपर पैर रखे देखा जा सकता है.

इससे यह साफ हो जाता है कि वायरल तस्वीर हाल फिलहाल की नहीं बल्कि तीन साल से ज्यादा पुरानी है. शिवलिंग के ऊपर पैर रखे व्यक्तियों पर पुलिस उसी समय कार्यवाही भी कर चुकी है.
