सोशल मीडिया पर एक पोस्ट शेयर कर दावा किया जा रहा है कि बलात्कार और धर्मांतरण की धमकी देने पर वाराणसी में एक दलित हिंदू युवती 6 मुस्लिम युवकों का गला काटकर फरार हो गई। साथ ही कहा जा रहा कि बाबतपुर के काली मंदिर से 6 कटे सिर बरामद हुए हैं।
Fact
दावे की सत्यता जानने के लिए हमने वायरल पोस्ट को ध्यान से देखा। हमें उसपर ‘UPTak’ का लोगो नज़र आया। हमें ‘UPTak’ की वेबसाइट और यूट्यूब चैनल पर ऐसी कोई रिपोर्ट नहीं मिली। हमने ‘UPTak’ के सीनियर पत्रकार अमीश राय से संपर्क किया। उन्होंने दावे का खंडन करते हुए खबर को फे़क बताया।
इसके अलावा, हमें किसी भी मीडिया संस्थान द्वारा प्रकाशित ऐसी कोई रिपोर्ट नहीं मिली, जिसमें इस घटना का जिक्र किया गया हो।
पड़ताल के दौरान हमें गोमती जोन वाराणसी कमिश्नरेट का 18 जून को किया गया एक ट्वीट मिला। इसमें वायरल पोस्ट का खंडन किया गया है। पुलिस ने अपने ट्वीट में लिखा, कई ट्विटर यूजर्स द्वारा एक फेक न्यूज़ को पोस्ट कर वायरल किया जा रहा है। जिसमें कहा गया है कि बलात्कार व धर्मांतरण की धमकी देने पर 6 मुस्लिम युवकों का गला काटकर एक दलित हिन्दू युवती फरार हो गई। यह पूरी तरह गलत है। थाना फूलपुर के अंतर्गत बाबतपुर चौकी में ऐसी कोई घटना नहीं हुई है। कृपया इस तरह के असत्य व भ्रामक पोस्ट को साझा न करें। ऐसे पोस्ट को शेयर करने वालों के खिलाफ वैधानिक कार्यवाही की जाएगी।’
हमने मामले की जानकारी केे लिए वाराणसी के स्थानीय पत्रकार अनुराग तिवारी और सुधीर राय से संपर्क किया। उन्होंने भी इस घटना का खंडन किया है।
कुल मिलाकर, यह निष्कर्ष निकलता है कि वाराणसी के बाबतपुर में ऐसी कोई घटना नहीं हुई है। वायरल पोस्ट फर्जी है।
