वीडियो में देखा जा सकता है कि कैसे मणिपुर में बीजेपी के नेताओं को स्थानीय लोगों ने पीटकर भगा दिया.
Fact
वीडियो को कुछ कीवर्ड्स की मदद से खोजने पर हमें NMF News नाम के एक यूट्यूब पर ये वीडियो मिला. यहां ये वीडियो October 6, 2017 को अपलोड किया गया है. वीडियो के साथ बताया गया है कि दार्जिलिंग में पश्चिम बंगाल के तत्कालीन बीजेपी अध्यक्ष दिलीप घोष के साथ धक्का-मुक्की हुई. साथ ही बताया गया है कि दिलीप घोष के साथ मौजूद बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं को एक गुट ने पीट भी दिया था.
इस मामले को लेकर उस समय कई खबरें भी छपी थीं. जिन लोगों ने ये मारपीट की थी वह गोरखा जनमुक्ति मोर्चा के बागी नेता विनय तमांग के समर्थक थे. उस समय दिलीप घोष तीन पहाड़ी इलाकों के दौरे पर थे. इसी दौरान इन इलाकों में गोरखालैंड को लेकर हिंसक विरोध प्रदर्शन भी हुआ था.
इस तरह हमारी जांच में यह स्पष्ट हो जाता है कि वायरल वीडियो के साथ गलत दावा किया गया है. बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ मारपीट का यह वीडियो मणिपुर का नहीं, बल्कि लगभग 6 साल पुराना पश्चिम बंगाल के दार्जिलिंग का है.
